Construction Challenges in a Neighbourhood Undergoing Renewal   

In the Kiryat Eliezer complex extending over an approx. 38,000 sq.m. area 4X11-storey buildings have been erected containing 213 housing units in a variety of size and to different specifications with a common underground car park.  

The complex, built by the Baranovich method, was developed in a crowded and congested residential neighbourhood that in the course of construction underwent a process of improvement and massive replacement of all the infrastructures. This presented in the field unique construction challenges and made it difficult to obtain Form 4. In order to deal with these unique challenges, the Company set up logistics facilities providing for efficient utilisation of the moulds and materials array for all of the operations proceeding on the construction site. This array entailed the employment of 4 tower cranes.

Throughout all construction phases, Ashtrom paid attention to building safety, meticulous logistic planning and tight quality control - starting from the stage of laying the infrastructures and casting the frame for all of the buildings, via planning and logistics, up to installation of electromechanical systems in each apartment, finishing works and dealing with the surrounding green areas.
