Urban Renewal Project in the Heart of a Congested City Area    

The residential tower now being erected in the Afeka neighbourhood rises to a height of 18 storeys, offering 69 housing units in a variety of sizes and to different specifications, a 3-level underground car park with an area of 2,000 sq.m. and rich environmental development over an approx. 5,000 sq.m. area. 

The building site is located in a congested neighbourhood, in a cul-de-sac - confronting the work crews on the ground with tough logistic challenges. The façades are clad in granite stone by the dry suspension technique, combined with aluminium screen walls. In addition, the building car park is to be connected to the existing car park in the next door building, dictating sawing and demolition of existing concrete elements and reinforcement works with the aid of steel constructions, while normal operation of the car park is uninterrupted and residents’ safety is ensured.
